Ayala Life lived up to its 75th Anniversary theme SHINE - Sparking Hope INspiring Excellence. The company was able to generate a net income of P 221 Million. Its total premium grew by 9.5% from P 1.70 Billion in 2007 to P 1.92 Billion in 2008 more over it has paid a total of over P1.1 Billion in benefits to it policyholders in the same year. These figures represent the relief of financial protection received by families whose breadwinners trusted their future to Ayala Life. Its commitment to do what ever it takes to transform dark realities into shining moments, to spark hope in times of adversity to its clients and to inspire excellence at all times to its contemporaries in the industry. “Insurance protection is all about providing peace of mind in times of uncertainties.” OIC and Business Director Ma. Asuncion D. Martin said. She adds “We have constantly responded to the needs of Filipino families especially during trying times as highlighted by our achievements in the past as well as our exceptional performance at present.” As of the first quarter of 2009, Ayala Life has already achieved a total of P 1.04 Billion in first year premiums despite the unfavorable forecast of a recession. This remarkable feat is attributed to the volume of business generated by the different distribution channels, namely its Agency Force, Alternative Channels, Bancassurance and Corporate Sales. |
